Mental Health Mondays: Let’s Talk About It [VIDEO]

Most of the time, people don’t like talking about their mental health struggles. I would never dream of telling someone to do something they aren’t comfortable with, especially when it comes to how they deal with their mental health. Unless you are working on getting out of your comfort zone on purpose to help deal with certain things, mental health is nothing but a personal issue.

I do have a wish, however. I wish people felt more comfortable talking about their struggles. I truly believe the more people do that, the more people will feel comfortable talking about it as well. When more people get to talking, that stigma will melt away and we’ll start to be able to make great strides in the mental health “big picture.”

Coming up a week from tomorrow (Tuesday October 3rd), I am releasing a podcast talking about my own struggles with mental health. I also, with my co-host, talk with community members about their own struggles as well ways to get help and cope healthily when things get tough.
