One of the most famous bands to come out of Illinois will perform at the University of Illinois Springfield Performing Arts Center in June.

Chicago was formed in 1967 and released its first album, under the name “Chicago Transit Authority,” in 1969.

The group has toured every year since then, and still has three original members in the lineup – Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, and James Pankow. Chicago was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.

The band will appear here on Saturday, June 17th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, ranging from $60 to $180. Get more details at uispac.com.
