Lanphier High School graduate and NBA star Andre Iguodala has agreed to come back for one more year with the Golden State Warriors before retiring from pro hoops for good.
Iguodala had toyed with the notion of retiring this summer… but says his teammates and coaches urged him to come back for one more year. Iguodala is 38, and this will be his 19th season in the NBA, including four league championship rings and being honored as the NBA Finals MVP in 2015.
He was hampered by injuries for much of last season, but the team says Iguodala’s leadership is needed both on and off the court.
