Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is weighing in on the possibility that former President Donald Trump could be criminally charged and arrested as early as this week.
In a tweet, Blagojevich condemns the possibility of charges against Trump, calling it part of the “weaponization” of prosecutions as a political tool. Blagojevich was tried and convicted on federal fraud charges and sent to prison until Trump commuted his sentence.

Now the former Democratic governor is calling for a congressional investigation into what he says is an “abuse of power” by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office – and says Republican prosecutors should be investigated, too.
