From 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, Springfield’s Kidzeum of Health and Science is offering free admission for a special Community Appreciation Day.
Family and friends alike are invited to enjoy a day of community connection and discovery, with guest appearances and scientific demonstrations throughout the day at 412 East Adams Street. Community Appreciation Day will also feature special activities celebrating Black History Month including a paper plane obstacle course honoring historic Black aviator Bessie Coleman; as a football toss exhibit celebrating wide receiver Jerry Rice; and other activities, including a storytime reading with Downtown Springfield’s Alderwoman Lakeisha Purchase.
