An investigation is underway after a bouncer was shot in the parking lot of a Springfield bar.
Authorities say the incident happened early Monday at The
Cove on North Dirksen Parkway. The victim was treated at the hospital for a minor gunshot wound.
He told deputies he confronted some individuals about
loitering in the parking lot before he heard shots and realized he had been hit; no arrests have been made.
