A Springfield man is going to prison for illegally having a gun. Navell White was sentenced to 77 months for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Prosecutors say White was found in possession of a pistol during a traffic stop in 2022. He wasn’t allowed to have a gun as a felon.
White also had a significant criminal history, which included a pattern of domestic violence over several years.
