The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department has released the identity of the victim of a fatal shooting in Springfield Monday.
The victim is identified as 47- year-old Aaron Suttle of Springfield.
The sheriff’s office says Suttle suffered a gunshot wound and died later at a hospital; the search for a suspect in the case continues.
