A recent drug bust in Springfield resulted in $34,000 worth of cocaine being taken off the streets.
The bust happened when officers in the Proactive Crime
Unit searched a home in the area of Wheeler and Cincinnati Avenues. Prior to the warrant being served, officers located the suspect in their investigation, 25-year-old Octavion Williams.
Williams was arrested on preliminary charges that
included manufacturing and possessing cocaine; he was booked into the Sangamon County Jail.
