Local students attending a weekend workshop will help artist Danielle Mastrion install a large public mural, “Local Heroes,” at the new Springfield-Sangamon County Transportation Hub in downtown Springfield.
The public is invited to witness the installation and meet the artist and her student helpers on Sunday afternoon at 2:00.
The mural is 61 feet wide by 47 feet tall and is located just north of the Sangamon County building at 200 S. 9th Street in Springfield.
