One person is dead and at least 20 are hurt after gunfire broke out during a Juneteenth celebration near Chicago early Sunday.
The shooting happened as hundreds were gathered for the celebration in Willowbrook. While some of the injuries were minor, ten people were transported to area hospitals. In addition to the fatality, at least two other people were in critical condition Sunday.
Police could not immediately say what led to the gunfire or who was responsible for the shooting.
