A Springfield woman has been indicted on felony charges in connection with a fatal DUI crash earlier this month.

29-year-old Marina Rhone, also known as Marina Bustamante, is facing three counts of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence Causing Death, a Class 2 felony.

She’s accused of traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on 2nd Street on May 1, passing cars in the bike lane and running a red light, striking a car driven by 41-year-old Kevin Crews of Springfield.

Crews died of his injuries several days later. If Rhone is convicted of the charges, she could face 14 years in prison. She remains held in the Sangamon County Jail on $200,000 bond.
