There are more staff shakeups at Springfield City Hall. LaShonda Fitch is out as director of the city-run Oak Ridge Cemetery; Mayor Misty Buscher plans an announcement Monday on the cemetery position and other appointments.
Meanwhile, although Police Chief Ken Scarlette is keeping his job, there have been changes to his command staff. Assistant Chief Josh Stuenkel has been replaced by Don Mumaw. Stuenkel’s new title is Deputy Chief of Administrative Services.
A Buscher spokesperson says there will be a promotions ceremony, along with swearing-in of new officers, on June 1, with additional promotions linked to the department reorganization to be announced then.
