An annual competition to highlight the most interesting items made in Illinois has been narrowed to eight finalists.
The Illinois Manufacturers Association uses online voting to choose which items will advance in the Makers Madness competition.
Among the Illinois-made items still alive in the contest are the Accuchiller Brewery and Distillery Glycol Chiller – 17th Street Barbecue Sauces – and Libman Company’s 32-gallon trash can and lid.
