If you got a payout last year from the settlement of a class action lawsuit over Facebook’s use of biometric data, another check is in the mail.

After the initial round of checks for nearly $400 each went out to 1.3 million Facebook users in Illinois, there was still nearly $43 million left in the settlement fund because some people received the checks but didn’t cash them.

As a result, additional checks of more than $30 each are going out to Facebook users in Illinois who filed claims by the 2020 deadline.

Facebook agreed to the payouts to settle claims that it violated Illinois’s strict biometric privacy law by collecting and storing images of users’ faces.
