Some – but not all – Springfield government offices will be closed Monday for the observance of Lincoln’s Birthday.
Sunday is the actual day for the 214th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth, but the holiday will be observed on Monday.
The City of Springfield, Sangamon County, and state government offices will be closed Monday – but federal offices will be open.
The following Monday, for President’s Day, county, state, and federal offices will be closed… but Springfield city government will be open.
