Springfield’s public library has a new charitable and fundraising group supporting it.
The Lincoln Library Alliance was recently established to accept donations and raise money in support of literacy and other programs through the library. The group replaces the Friends of Lincoln Library organization, which recently disbanded.
There are various membership levels with the organization, starting with a $25 one-year individual membership. You can learn more at lincolnlibraryalliance.org.
